August-Sept Forecast:

Late July is the mid-point of N.E. Florida's summer season. Not much changes very fast. But it marks a point in the local fishing calendar. Because fish and game are influenced by the length of days, as time pushes on from here on out and the days shorten, so comes the water slowly cooling, storms come and go, bait fish migrate, and of course kids go back to school.

 Kids go back to school????

Yep. You know if you are a parent. Vacations have been taken. And for most it's back to school be it if you are a 6 year old or a college student.

So.....don't waste the rest of the summer!

Personally, as a full-time fishing guide and die-hard angler myself. I'm waiting for much shorter days, cooler temps, and a season change.

In N.E. Florida we have 3 seasons. HOT, Less or no A/C needed, and COLD.

I prefer, the no A/C days, and the cold days. By now, I have had my fill of the heat.

I'm looking forward to big bull Redfish, Speckled Trout, Weakfish.....all within two miles of the dock. The days when I leave for the inlet in the morning, and come back from the inlet in the afternoon. More time with hooks in the water is what I call it.

I specialize in, the least amount of boat riding and the most time fishing. Fishing the tide is of the utmost importatnce come late summer early fall.

And YOU MUST plan ahead. Reserve your charter a minimum of 2 weeks to 30 days in advance. Watch my daily fishing reports at:
